Any Good Way to Get a X300 on a TSW?

I am one of the few that likes and use the bolt on rails on the TSW series of pistols. I have a couple of the fixed railed pistols that take a X300 no issue (none made in 9mm that I know of) but the bolt on rails can’t take a X300. I know that streamlight makes a key for the TSW, but after shooting my 4046TSW today and having the key shear off (second time this has happened with two different lights) and being a Surefire guy anyway, I am wondering if anyone has found a good way to get a X300 to work with one of the bolt on rail TSWs.

There was a guy on the Third Gen reddit who was going to print replacement keys for A-pattern X300s, never did outside of his own though.

If you have an X300 with the older battery door, there is a pinned filler plate that can be removed which may give you enough space to mount it. You may need to do some file work regardless. Newer doors have solid material there but could be filed down. If its possible, an X300 B with the old door is likely the ticket, or the A Pattern with the Rail Lock mount.

Olds350rocket has either done it or attempted it, so hopefully he chimes in

I have removed the old plastic “bumper” to mount on sigs in the past. Tried a A model with the removed bumper and that also didn’t work. So it sounds like filing will be the only bet then?

I only have an integral rail, which does not have the issue. If the only issue is length, then filing may work. You can probably test it by mounting it without the battery cap installed at all, which should illustrate how much material to remove.

If the dimension of the rail slot itself is an issue (have heard varying accounts), then you would probably be SOL barring a custom key.
