Any info on this scope for 15-22

Certainly not the kind of scope "I" would put on an AR15 type rifle. Would look great on a wood stock rifle.

The sad part is that there isn't a whole lot of mid range tactical scopes it's either NcStar, Primary Arms or Trijicon.

(I realize there are a few others, but my point is, that there isn't a whole lot of choice in this style of scope).

One of the few mid-range tactical scopes that isn't over the top for $$$$ is the Burris 3x AR-332 Prism Scope. I finally got a chance to look through one a few months ago. While it was apparent that the glass was clear/bright, the rectile was crooked and the dot had a slight fuzzy tail on it:( (I handed it to a guy standing next to me and he said the same). I'm sticking with the dime store optics like Primary Arms, NcStar... on and on... they operate just as well or better (for me) on the 15-22 and other .22s.

honestly, I would just like to try those fiber optics (without their scope) on the rails + riser to goof around with instead of backup iron sights. I wonder if they would co-witness that way?

I have a Burris Signature on my Rock River. I did not put it on there for looks. But to make it a better rifle to shoot tighter groups and works great in low light conditions. A person cannot go wrong with quality optics in my opinion(if you can afford it).

I've not yet tried this on my 15-22.

That's great and you have the choice to run whatever optic floats your boat. But the real AR platform isn't intended to be a sniper rifle, there are rifles for that role and I really don't plan on doing much low light shooting. I prefer a short tactical optic rather than a typical long rifle scope.

And the only "quality" optic that fits the bill made by Trijicon. So I'll stick with my cheap NcStar for now... It seems to work ok.

It was co-witnessed that way, so that you could set the scope for say 100 yards and the fiber optics for like 25 to 40 yards. Neat idea and like the best of both worlds for target shooting.

I am unfamiliar with Elcan... I did a Google.... Yikes! Some of those make the ACOG look like a bargain.
