I've read some inferences here and there, time to come out. I play drums, am learning electric piano and wish I hadn't wasted the $$$ on my bass (will trade for ???).

Anyway, what do you play and what style? I've been doing electric blues for the past six years (SRV, ZZ Top, etc.) but things in Columbus ain't what they used to be. All the over-40's are staying home and saving their do-re-me.
I keep threatening to form a smooth jazz trio and name it "Beige LeSabre" :D

My friend Beach Elvis on forum here is one outstanding drummer you can see his video "Sammy the crazy drummer" on you tube where he was on tour in Germany with American Dog.the video does begin to touch him in person

I started on clarinet in grade school...switched to bass clarinet, then baritone sax in high school. I used a sax owned by the school band, so I never kept up with the sax after I graduated. Also, senior year of high school I took a course in music theory....chords, scales, inversions etc. First year in college I took basic piano, a lot of which was music theory so i did really well at it but, again, i didn't have a piano at home to keep up with it. Later, I bought a bass and got into a hard rock band with some guys from my hometown. We actually made some money playing at local joints before it fell apart. I sold my bass but still have my amp and speaker cabinet. I haven't played in almost 30 years....I really miss it!

I've been playing piano for more than sixty years now.

I got a degree in music education and taught before becoming a school principal and then working for a major oil company.

Today, I sing in a choral ensemble and play piano. In the past I've acted and sang in musical comedies, was in the original cast of a new opera, conducted theater orchestras and even conducted a few symphony concerts.

This is what I do now.

This is a Yamaha Clavinova and I like to play pop/jazz music from the thirties and forties.

Im a strange sort of musician in that Im an electric guitarist in a Catholic Church Choir ... with heavy metal roots.
perhaps Im more talented than I might realize in that it actually works out tastefully.
Ave Maria

Once upon a time I was a musician and even obtained a degree in music. Now I never touch the instruments. The closest I come is turning on my audio system.

I played the Dobro[Bluegrass & Country music] from 1969 till 2003-now never play.Played trumpet for 3 years in grade school.

Friday nights around this house can get interesting.I've got a few friends that still play and like to stop by here.As the weather gets nicer we'll move it out back to my shop and BBQ.My neighbor next door sets their lounge chairs up and enjoys.Never any complaints but we don't let it get too loud.My friend of 30 years moved up state and took his drums,we played together for most of the years he was here and could always know what the other was up to.That's a hard thing to find and I miss him but he's better off now.
I play Guitar and love rock and blues.I also have 9 guitars 6 playable.

I have a guitar left, I have not played out in years, my guitar collection has been dwindling from almost 20 at one point down to just one beat up old acoustic. I recently traded my jazz box for a shotgun.

I play the blues

I torture a guitar every now and then. I know a couple of chords.

Played piano and trumpet as a kid and used to play bass horn professionally in a brass quintet. Haven't touched one for years. I still mess around on banjo, guitar and autoharp and sing a bit.

Easter Bunnies Get Drunk After Easter.

It's as if my Strat summons the cat. She always comes around when I'm 'playing' (and I use that term loosely).

I sing in the local Symphony Chorale so I can tell these:
How do you know when a Soprano is on your porch? She can't find the key and doesn't know when to come in.

What do you call a successful drummer?
One with a day job.
