Any NBA fans out there?

I would be a fan but ever since King James step in the ring and ruined the game forever, no thanks.
I'll take Michael Jordan's last Championship Team up against any lazy Labron's teams. Chicago wins in 5 or a straight up sweep! The golden age IMO of the NBA was the 80's & 90's Kevin McHale of Boston would have beat the $**! out of Labron and let's not forget about Detroit. The College game with it's NIL bs has ruined sports forever. Look how bad the NCAA Basketball Tournament was this year, no upsets and the seeds mostly held. Boring! I'm a Basketball junkie from the time my friends and I skipped school for the 1st round of college Basketball in the 7th grade and went to 1st round sites around the country for 30+ yrs. not anymore! PLEASE PLAY DEFENSE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That goes for college football as well. No loyalty for any program at all.
The great Bobby Knight turning in his grave.

If you like defense watch the OKC Thunder, some sources are rating them as having one of the best defenses in history. Those small, speedy youngsters can really get after the man with the ball.

I lost interest in the NBA when Jordan retired. The pro game has morphed into something that has no appeal to me at all. I do still enjoy college basketball. Have season tickets to my local D1 alma mater. Also like high school ball, and even take in a few grade school games each year.

Off topic, but the NIL and transfer portal are ruining college ball.

Not.these days..I consider most(not all) NBA players no better than most street thugs;;;talented at a sport but hoodlums. Quite a few years ago I did not feel that way. I used to watch BB...but no longer do so...Course I don't watch Pro football either

Nuggets fan here. It's too bad we didn't get past OKC, but taking them to a game 7 may be the hardest challenge the Thunder will face in the playoffs. I am happy that the final four have either zero championship history or not in a long time championship history. Watching all the surrender cobras at MSG has been amusing, but the best thing is that LeBum is enjoying the playoffs from home.

I'll just chuck in that I like LeBron.

If not the best b-ball player ever, surely a legit claim to the GOAT title. An exceptional athlete to be still competing at such a high level at 40, and, from what I read, with his philanthropy in Akron, a generous, civic minded man as well.
