Astoria, which is near here, is mostly Scandinavian, and the Scandinavians are mostly Finnish. Years ago, every bar in Astoria had "Fins" on the jukebox!

The concert last night was great! Thank goodness the forecasted rain stayed away but it was hot & humid! Yes, there were some beach balls not
as many as years ago tho.
The concert was a double bill, 2nd half was the Eagles. I didn't have huge expectations due to the death of Glenn Frey and adding Vince Gill (known as a country singer) Gill's vocals filed the bill very well. Joe Walsh was his usual self as was Don Henley. The big surprise and the best was Frey's son, Deacon. He sounded so much like lhis Dad it was eerie.

We went to NYC in April to see his Broadway show which sadly ended yesterday, it was great.

From my decades here, he's much more popular with the tourists than he is with native or long time residents of Florida.
The Keys got so bad that even Buffett fled to other parts of the Caribbean. Many popular beach bands treat calls for Buffet tunes like calls for Freebird at a local southern rock concert.
