Any Real Live Cowboys out there ?

not a cowboy, but.... rode bulls in jr college.. the bulls were not really rank, but they still bucked pretty hard. it was fun......for a while.. then i smartened up pretty quick though..

my cuz tried to make a living out of bull riding .. Let's say his name was Mike Thompson.. We used to call him "Mike Thom"... because that was all the announcer would get to say before he hit the ground

I've skint a few mules in my younger days,
rode a few snaky broncs,
been skint up purty good my ownself too.

Most were out in the open, where if ya bucked off ya'd have a right smart walk back to the starting point,
you don't get to pass go and collect two hundred dollars neither.



When my son want'd to Cowboy for a livin...I told 'Cowboy'
was a verb, not an noun. It's what you do the counts.

He wanted to be a bronc rider and did a right smart job at it.

Ya see, saddle bronc riders buck out before the bulls and a
feller can wear starched shirts and wrangler and still look
purty fresh whilst going to the pay window, if'n they ride em pruty.



I never was salty enough to ride bulls,
be I've been hook'd by a few and
I got this built in dislike for ER visits.

Well, jest swing a big loop and tie on hard....
When you pull your slack, you'll have it, or it'll have you!!!
