Looking for a weather station that shows wind speed, rain gauge and all the other weather stuff that we can use at home and on the road with our motorhome. There are a lot out there but reviews are all over the map, so, any real world users who are happy with their units ? Do I have to have wi-fi to see the readings or are there bluetooth models.

When I travel, or at home for that matter, I use the National Weather Service App on my cell phone. It automatically updates based on my GPS location, and has proven pretty accurate and informative. I particularly like the live mapping feature that shows your location as a red dot, and the moving rain / snow fronts around you - gives you a pretty accurate idea when the storm may hit your location.

Thanks,,, I have that app, but I want to see wind speed and actual rain amounts exactly where we are.

I saw one at Costco the other day, don't know the brand but Costco has good prices and if you don't like it bring it back!
I don't know what you do with the anemometer on top of a motor home (if it can be removed)

This is for when we get settled down in the RGV,,, definitely not when we are traveling down the road.

I have an Accu.Rite indoor/outdoor thermometer which also shows the humidity, and the same brand rain gauge. The rain gauge is electronic blue-tooth and records for a month with daily totals available.
they have both been very dependable and accurate. Had the thermometer about 12 years, and the rain gauge 2 years.

They also have built in atomic clock.
