Just saw a weather warning for the sea off the CA coast for waterspouts.

Seems like the big storm rolling down from the Bering Sea is packing some serious power. Anybody heard of such events happening on the West Coast before?



Here in the PNW we get all kinds of crazy weather.
Yes, there does seem to be more of it recently. We hit 120°F last summer having never officially been above 117°F before, something I'd seen twice in 25 years here. An extra three degrees once you get to that level is quite a jump.
We shall see how much of that storm makes it to the Vegas valley tomorrow.
