I have acquired over the years several vintage paper ammo boxes; mostly shotgun and various pistol calibers from 50s thru 70s. Some have the original ammo and others are empty. I don't collect boxes per se but I suspect others do. I understand that some vintage boxes are quite desirable and consequently valuable. Can anyone recommend some sources to research rarity and value? Many thanks...

Ditto, I've got many old boxes from 22-375- 10 gauge. Would
like info on these as well.

What kind of a link is that?

There are some online auctions for collector ammunition that give prices realized of tons of vintage boxes. Some are Wards Collectibles, SoldUSA, and eBay. The International ammunition Association has some good information as well. http://cartridgecollectors.org

There are some mid-twentieth century ammo boxes that are worth real money, but not many. The big dollars are usually found in the very early ammunition boxes of the 1860s into the 1880s.

The internet is your best source. Look up what you have by manufacturer. Hopefully, you're old like me so you actually remember using the stuff when you were a kid.
