I'll be there for three days. Look for an old fat guy wearing an orange Barq's Root Beer cap riding around on a scooter. I may have a NOPD marked Ithaca model 37 riot gun with me if I haven't sold it already. I'm not really looking for anything. I'll know what I want when I see it. We're going to have a table but I don't know where yet and I probably won't be there much anyway. I'm really going to miss Charlie Sides on this one. I haven't been in two years but camped at his and David Carroll's tables some last time I was up there.

I'm going. I've never been and always wanted to go. I have a meeting in Dallas all day Monday, so I'm flying out early Friday afternoon and on to Dallas Sunday pm. That will give me 2 days at the show.

That said, I have a couple questions.
How early should I arrive to get in line for tickets Saturday am and parking?
What about transfers and shipping if I buy some guns? I have my C&R and will bring some copies. Will the sellers ship to my FFL? I'm guessing I will work things out with each person, but just wanted an idea of what people have done in the past. Make sense?
I could always bring a case in my luggage that would lock so I could check guns, but only ones that I could transfer there with my C&R.
Any other advice would be appreciated ?
Main interests would be higher end factory engraved Smiths and Colts.
Thanks
Rick

Some of the dealers will ship, some will not. Individuals walking around probably won't ship, but most will sell to you. Be careful with them. C&R copies are a good thing if that's what you're looking for. A few copies of your dealer's FFL will help if you run into someone who will ship a non C&R item. I've had several shipped to me with no problem but there is a risk. I didn't go last year because of Covid. I expect it to be crowded this year.

I'll be there Saturday and Sunday. I've really missed this show. I will be looking for the elusive Charlie Sherrill. The last time I was at Tulsa I believe I saw him speeding down the North ramp on his scooter. I wasn't fast enough to stop him and say hello. Maybe this year.

They absolutely will not open the doors before 8:00 and the line will be over a quarter mile long. They do have girls come out and sell tickets down the line. Ten dollars per and even change only. There is a lot of parking, but some is quite a ways from the building, but they do run shuttle busses.

If you see something you are interested in you either need to buy it or remember very carefully where you saw it. The place is very large and the crowd is unbelievable. Enjoy

I may never go again because of the drive, but I got a table there some years ago. Great show worth attending at least once if you've never been. Only gun show I've ever been to where I got tired of looking at guns. Even though I was there all weekend, I didn't see it all.
