Hey guys, so I have been looking at all the range pickups of 357sig I have in this bag in my reloading file cabinet and the urge hit me to convert my m&p 40 to 357 sig. Unfortunately everywhere I look they are on backorder.

Is s&w ever going to make these barrels again?

Anybody see them anywhere that isn't backordered?

Hey Bassaro,

I'm trying to find one too, it's impossible!

I've heard from members on this forum that the M&P 357 Sig has been discontinued so it's going to be difficult to find the barrels in stock.

Let me know if you have any luck finding them. I'll do the same!

Dave.

Will do, I was afraid it was discontinued as midway has had them on backorder forever now.

Let me know if you come across any and I will do the same.

Factory barrels in any caliber are hard to come by at this time.

Your best (though more expensive) bet is to get check one of the aftermarket suppliers such as Storm Lake or KKM.

FWIW I have .357 barrels for both of my M&P .40's. I was able to pick up a factory barrel for my FS but had to buy a Storm Lake for my 40c. Both shoot very well.

If you have a FS, I recommend that you pick up a green recoil spring. It is heaver in rating than the blue one and IMHO, makes the gun run smoother. I would like to see S&W (or someone) come out with a heavier spring set up for the compacts.

I tried ordering one from Midway and went into perpetural order processing mode for over an hour. I don't know if I'll ever get it.
Jim
