Anybody make Sq butt grips Fit Rd butt?

Hey all i have a 629 classic dx that i have had for a while.I wanted to buy this set of Sq butt grips and fit them too the 629.It has a round butt grip .Has anybody done this? The grips i wanted to buy only come in Sq butt.

Let me know if anybody has done this.I do know some grips can fit both ways.P/S Pics would be nice

Sure you can cut/sand the corner of the grips and then refinish them.

Have you looked into a conversion grip? They may save you a little time from making them.

I have done quite a few pairs. I take old junker factory grips and give them new life. Here is a N frame and a K frame that both started out as square butt, checkered stocks.
All you need is files, sandpaper and imagination. Practice on a junker set first!
