Anybody own a Norinco?

My Chinese Norinco 1911a1/45acp is awesome. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another one.

I picked it up used to do a build down the road. I installed and fitted a new USGI barrel, nm barrel bushing, FLGR Kit, adjustable trigger. At 25 yds using Russian wolf ammo she shoots clusters and cloverleafs. She cycles fast like a race gun.

Best "bang for the buck" in a 1911 Mil-Spec Colt clone. Only imported for a short time until Clinton banned arms from Norinco. Unfortunately, really nice specimens are getting more difficult to find. The Norinco was ( is ) a favorite platform for custom 1911s. I've owned 3, one custom job, one my son has, and this virtually new early import that I've hung onto. Although not the exterior finish of my Gold Cup, the Norinco performs on par with my Springfield and any stock 1911.:)
