Anyone else spend to much time on the forum & GB?

I don't mind spending time on this forum at all, great people doing what I like to do and educating me more about what I like. GB is also a weakness, being informed on values allows me to know a good deal from a great deal from a bum deal so I can buy or pass when I visit the LGS or gun shows.

Oh, the 'like button' on GB is labeled 'Buy Now' ..............try it:)
Since I don't have much time off these are my 'social sites' :)

Since I do all of my forum stuff on my iPad, I find myself looking a picture in a magazine.... and I kid you not .... I'll reach out and spread my fingers on the paper picture to make it bigger, because I'm so used to doing it on the iPad. Needless to say, the pictures do t get any bigger!!!

I haven't told any of my family, they may want to have me "examined"!!!

Best Regards, Les

I do that too!

Retired! I have the time and I'm on and off this forum and a couple car forums during the normal business day times for the most part. I play the stock market and use the forums for a diversion. I stay logged on but many time I'm outside doing the seasons work and no where near a computer. I guess sporadic is the correct term.

A unsolicited plug for this forum. I have been on a couple car forums for over 12 years and I do not send any money to them. Heck 25 bucks a year there puts you in a serious supporting member position. I enjoy this forum so much that I go gold, so its not a question of money.:)

Similar sort of thing happens to me since I've been doing a lot of reading on the Kindle. I keep tapping the side of the page of REAL books expecting the next page to appear. I blame some reflex in my thumb. Can't be me; I'm not that old yet.

I try and limit myself to 2-3 hours a day on the forum and GB. Can't always do that. The TV is so bad and I can only reload so much, and read so much. I tell you this retirement is work, trying to always find something to do. I wish my big gun club was closer (35 miles one way) and my trap/skeet club was open every day. I can always go to my little key club range and shoot, it is seldom used except on weekends.

I was banned because the Moderator did not like My views on things.

Retirement is not work......Lots to do....Deer season came in last Monday( killed an 8pt) on Tuesday........Dove season comes in, in 13 days...Then there is time to shoot/fish/farm/take trips with my wife.....Best job I ever had......Truth is I spent probably 4-5 hrs a day & night on the computer....I have grown to despise TV........And if the wife is not home I never turn it on.
