I have used the grease and the oil and it is worth the money. To me it is a difference maker when used on the sear.

Will try it to see if it protects and lubicates

Thanks, That is what i wanted yo hear I am going to try some of it Gun Butter.

I owned a Remington 1858 replica black powder revolver. Gun Butter is used to fill in the loaded cylinders. The purpose is to keep all the burning trash that is expelled when the gun is fired, from setting off the other cylinders. There are much better products to lube a modern gun. Like CLP

We are talking about a different "gun butter" than that stuff. The stuff we are talking about is a synthetic oil product named "gun butter". It cost about $15 for a ounce.

I also use Gunbutter. Works well and is easy to apply with the needle tip.

CLP is ok. But in my own unscientific tests, CLP completely dissipated when the barrel got hot. So I also use Tetragun. Since it is a fluoropolymer, I adheres better when heated and does not dissipate.
