I sent two money orders totaling around $1600 to a GB seller last Monday. USPS priority mail with tracking. It was supposed to be there last Thursday. It made it to Warrendale, PA on 6/12 and that's the last known location. It now shows as Moving Through Network. It's obviously not moving.

I bought the money orders with cash at HI-Vee (a large grocery store). I went there today and they don't do refunds.

Can't reach a real person with Western Union. There is an online process for requesting a refund. I have a photo of the money order and the money order receipts.

Has anyone gotten a refund from Western Union? How would they pay me back and how long would it take?

USPS sucks. I did a letter request on my NRM. I never showed up. Mike Helms is sending another copy.

iV been through this before...and your right...USPS is terrible with customer service....I believe you have to wait 30 days to file for reimbursement BUT...then you have to prove the value of the contents and have insurance for that value....as for the western union I cant say about that...Maybe you can cancel/stop payment on them? the best way to send important mail is thru Registered mail....because even signiture confirmation...ANYONE can sign!!

I was about to blame USPS for the non-arrival of something from England, so I thought I should call the sender. Apparently, the order was canceled two days after it was approved. Nobody there seems to know why or who. I told them to try again, so let's see where that leads.

Well, after sitting for 9 days in Warren dale, PA, the USPS found my money order and it's now in Richmond, VA. Getting the money order refunded was going to be a pain, so I held off. Hopefully, it makes it the rest of the way.
