I'm having weird problem with Winchester .500 S&W brass both standard and nickle plated.
I'm using single stage Rock Chucker and RCBS .500 S&W dies (I'm waiting for Redding dies to come in) but back on topic.
When I bell the brass the Winchester brass takes considerable more effort to bell while all my other brass (Hornady / Starline) bells easily.
Once everything is done and ammo is crimped using Lee Crimp die the Winchester brass wont go into cylinder the Hornady / Starline slides right in. Both cast and jacketed projectiles.
The Winchester brass goes maybe 1/8" and that is. I know that something is happening during belling because thats the only difference I can tell between using Winchester brass and others.
