I was wondering if anyone used this product:Smith & Wesson MP15-22 Long Barrel Shroud [NTS152] - $52.00 : Tacticool22, Tactical .22 Rifle Parts and Accessories

I was thinking about getting it but in case I didn't like it I didn't want to marr up my barrel too bad. Just wondering if anyone has it. I like the look and wish now I would have spent a little more for the threaded barrel. Thanks for any response guys

Anything by Tacticool or Belt_fed is top notch high quality and well designed

this isnt the non-threaded version but it is the shroud--i LOVE it

I just got the 6in threaded shroud for my PC and its a quality piece, you wont be disappointed.

I wouldn't hesitate on that shroud, definitely adds to the aesthetics of the plain jane barrel. Blue Loctite the set screw and you're gtg; mine is rock solid and hasn't budged over thousands of rounds and being thrown around. The set screw leaves a small mark on the barrel, which you position it at 6 o'clock, not a big deal.

I have this and it is well-made, goes on easy, looks great, and really finishes off a non-threaded barrel.
