I may have been the gentleman you sold the pistol to. What was it?

And I have used them for many transfers. They are fast (all done electronically, not via phone); as cheap as anyone ($25), accurate, and very professional. They have a knowledgeable and friendly staff, a clean and professionally managed store very well stocked with 95% new firearms (they don't do much in terms of used guns), easy to get to, plenty of parking and in general one of the better local gun stores in the Seattle area.

Plus the owner is pretty outspoken in terms of defending 2A rights.

Small world - I shipped a Glock there for my son-in-law. And, I can echo the comments of Redcoat - Great place and great guys. I shipped it from VA to them - just before I flew to Seattle for a visit. So, I rode out to Precise Shooter when my SIL went out to pick it up. Not many gun stores in the Seattle area - in fact I am not aware of any in the actual downtown Seattle area.

The only place that was a true gun store moved outside the city limits after City of Seattle passed an ordinance taxing firearm sales above and beyond the sales tax, with an ammo tax as well. $25 per firearm sale, and 2 cents per round for .22lr and smaller, 5 cents per round on calibers larger than .22lr.

Seattle was taken to court citing the state pre-emption law, but convinced our idiots on the State Supreme Court they had taxing authority over goods and services sold within the city limits, and pre-emption did not apply.

I bought and transferred while they were in Seattle. They took over the old Butch's Guns, which was a **** store that always smelled like B.O. and stale cigarettes.

The owner made it into a good shop, while I lived out that way it was my go-to shop for north end transfers as I lived south of Seattle.

Great shop. I live a mile from there original N Seattle location, and still shop at their new location in Lynnwood. Done a few transfers through them, and purchased an Anderson AR-15 lower reciever from them.
