In December I picked up a 3" 629 classic hunter. It's a grail gun for me. The factory rubber had to go. I waited and waited and waited some more. Nothing. So I bought a set of Grasshorn's from a forum member. Now I'm waiting on a polished bronze T Grip. Who knows when that will show up. The last one was 4 months.

Ken makes what he wants, when he wants. Waiting for the correct ones to appear in the classifieds, watching like a hawk, and then pouncing is part of the fun of ownership. You can't get them off Amazon with one click, you have to put in some effort or get lucky.
Interestingly, Ken once told me he starts out making N frames but lets the material sort of dictate the final choice. Consequently, his K frames are a little rarer and his Js even rarer still. My 27 wears Kens grips. My 28 wears some moose he made. I have several pairs on different K frames. But I'm kinda proud my Mod. 60 has some. Rare snag, there. We have several members on the forum who I would say produce masterful work. Ken is one of them. Helluva nice guy, too.

Yes I know the protocol. I had even talked myself into waiting on a set of moose antler to come along. But I'm very familiar with Pat's work too when I found a pair with medallions and the perfect amount of bark I jumped on them.

Pat does excellent work also. I was about to order some from him when the J's popped up and I gobbled them up.
