Anyone know how to play the card game Euchre ???

It is played a lot out here in Indiana.
Learned how to play it with 5 people using 2 decks while in Saudi back in '91. Haven't played it for quite some time.

Heck yeah. Grew up playing it. Played while in the NAV but haven't played in several years now...

I used to run the poolhall in the summer in small-town Michigan...and take in the card money and pool money. Euchre and "Shoot-the-Moon" were the two games everyone played. Then, in junior college, in Flint, everyone played Euchre in the cafeteria between classes. Awfully good game; simple and quick.

We play it at deer camp and my in-laws play it. Great game as long as it's played fast.

Eucher is the Polish national pastime! If I didn't play Eucher, I'd be disinvited to all family holiday gatherings/i.e. brawls! My oldest son thinks I'm the worst player in the world because I am too slow for his liking. I also renig (sp).

I learned to play as a kid in Wisconsin many years ago. Now we play in Texas. FWIW they still have Eucher parties in Wisconsin most every sunday.

Big deal in IN when I was a kid. Those Hoosiers do like their late night card games.

I've forgotten how to play, but am sure that I could pick it back up.

It's the national game of Iowa; I won a portable Westinghouse radio in a tournament in the early 60's, held at a local tavern. It had 7 transistors!
(The make and the number of transistors come from a sometimes faulty memory-but it was an ugly color green to be sure!)
