Howdy,
I've had, and extensively shot, the .22 magnum version of this little pistol for many years. With much practice, you CAN get to be pretty good with this little Guy! Back when I shot it regularly, I could keep all five shots in a 4" circle, at about five yards, more than accurate enough for close-up self defense, if push came to shove. Of course, it's not the most powerful caliber, but I seriously doubt that even any of it's detractors would volunteer to be shot, center of mass, with five .22 magnum rounds from this little popper!!

I have one good friend, a retired LEO, who once saved his own bacon by using his own NAA .22 maggie to stop a knife attack on himself. Killed the perp, too. So, even though, as in many cases, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", I trust my own NAA .22 maggie, and feel comfortable shooting it, with confidence that it will do what needs to be done, if, God forbid, I ever had to do so. Practice, practice, practice, and you can become a very good shooter with your new little popper. Take care, and God Bless!
Every Good Wish,
Doc
