They are on an K-22 Outdoorsman. The right panel appears to say SUND. I'm not sure what the left panel has written on it. Sunday Jun?

Why are the photos oriented sideways. Is because of the file size? Is there a "trick" to correct them?

They appear to be 1930s decade K frame service stocks with an attempt at "fleur-de-lis" carving. Perhaps the words on the insides identify who did the work.

Looks like hobbyist to me.
I rotate and crop the pictures in my phone.

Pretty sure the one grip panel has "5UND" on it. No idea what that might mean.

It's probably the way you hold your phone.

I download them to my computer and orient them there.

I'm not tech savvy, there may be a way to do it on the phone but I wouldn't know.

The photos are all oriented correctly on my phone and on my computer. The mis-orientation happens when they are uploaded. I still believe that it's the image file size that does it and will try to use smaller file sizes in the future.
