Anyone replace only the trigger body on their Shield .45?

Was thinking of purchasing the Shield in .45 but the trigger seems to pinch my trigger finger and was going to move on to something else.

Knew the Apex trigger system was out there but since this is for CCW, I really didn't want to replace the entire trigger system.

Doing some searching, it appears it is possible to replace just the trigger body.

Anyone just replace the trigger body on a Shield especially the .45 with this item?

Are there any other trigger body items out there or is Apex it?

The Apex site your link directed me to says that the trigger is not for use in the Shield 45, so you may have to adapt to the factory trigger. I have a fat finger and I have a Shield 45 with 8,000 rounds through it. I have never pinched my finger in the hinge. The key is to place your finger on the lower part of the trigger below the hinge. The Shield 45 is a wonderful gun. It's one of the most accurate short-barreled semi-autos you can buy. Once you've adapted to the trigger, you'll love it.

Both my Shield 45s have just the Apex trigger only. Found the factory sear broke crisp enough.
