I ain't found anything that will open one of those easily. They're tougher than a T-34.

That was a June "Cleaver", Ward used to spank her with it.
Wally was traumatized for life upon a brief viewing. June always did say, Ward, don't you think you were a little hard on the Beaver last night? Ah the 60's.....

I seem to recall that the cut out in the middle was a special purpose tool to lift pot lids or stove lids---or something like that anyway. FWIW
