I'm thinking of getting some Norma 73 gr FMJ for my WWII FN Browning 1922 model. I know the USA made 32 acp is touted as pretty anemic so I was wondering if the Norma 32 is a little hotter like some of you say most of it is in other calibers. Has anyone shot any of this ammo and what were your findings?

I shoot it from my Tomcat occasionally. It’s at least as hot as any other I’ve tried. Very reliable and very clean.

I shot up a box of Norma .32 auto ages ago. It seemed a little zippier to me than the US produced fodder but I didn't bother to chronograph it. I do remember it functioned just fine. It is "generally believed" that the European .32 auto is loaded a tad hotter than it's American cousins.

I bought some Norma 73-grain FMJ and it shot well in both a Walther PP and a Kel-Tec P32. No malfuntions.

It works just fine, as does all Norma ammo I’ve used over the years.

I’ve always viewed Norma as premium ammo across calibers: just a bit better than domestic ammo.

Thanks y'all. I was checking out ammoseek.com and there are some pretty good prices on it.

Buying it directly of Norma website is usually best deal. Iota of times they’ll have free shipping on holiday weekend deals

Norma makes good stuff.

My only complaint is their flash holes are small and can cause problems during de-capping when you reload.

Not sure if that matters for .32 acp…

Norma is good ammunition. I have fired it in a 1903 Colt Pocket Hammerless, 1907 Savage, Mauser Hsc a Walther PP and a Beretta 81BB. No issues in any of these pistols. The Norma website shows .32 ACP in stock.

I checked Norma's website and it's quite a bit more expensive there than on a couple of the other dealer's sites, as much as $10.00 per box of 50.

Never shot their 32ACP ammo but I’ve shot up a lot of Norma ammo over the years and it’s all been 100% that I recall.

If it's very zippy, be careful with shooting it in the Tomcat.
Beretta warns not to shoot ammo with more than 130ft-lbs ME to avoid cracking the frame.
Not sure if the Norma would be one to look out for or not, but I'd definitely check it out before shooting any.

I finally broke down and ordered a few boxes from AE Ammo. They had the best price and shipping fees. I ordered on Nov 14th and it arrived on the 16th. That ain't bad!

That does sound pretty good.
A quick 'net search for AE Ammo came up with a FaceBook page, but not a webiste. Hmmnnn....
Checking their Facebook page wasn't very encouraging - the first review that came up was pretty negative.
You aren't possibly referring to FEDERAL American Eagle ammo are you?
If so, who was the seller you ordered from and what kind of price & shipping did they offer?

I went on ammoseek.com and found the ammo there. They had the best price and shipping price. AE Ammo has great reviews on ammoseek.com You may want to go there and see what you think. Did you try their website at AEAMMO.COM?

My Google-fu must be weak. I searched for "A E Ammo" and didn't find the site you're talking about.

If they're getting a good review on AmmoSeek that would be good enough for me!
