Anyone shooting more air guns?

Air rifles in the back yard are no good to me - banned by city ordinance!

Should move back to the country.

Get a good air rifle and shoot it. You'll be surprised how much it will help your accuracy with powder guns. The practice of sight picture, trigger control, breathing, and follow through is key to good shooting. Best part is the cheap price of peelets.

Got a 10m range in the basement.

I have a Gamo spring piston rifle, the NRA version. Has a scope on it, and is pretty darned accurate with its favorite pellets. I'm not much of a rifle shooter, so it is more accurate than me.

Got a Baikal IZH53M for Christmas. It was very cheap and it is very cheap. If you know what I mean. But, I like the spring piston action because BO might put a tax on CO2 cartridges. And you don't run out of spring at the wrong time either.

I'm trying to decide about either a new S&W or an IZH46M. I started to get one about six months ago and then I heard they are no longer available. Thought I'd lost out until somebody just posted they may be here again. They seemed to run about $350 to $450 depending on whether or not you wanted a red dot and case.

I'd really like to find one though.

Also thought about a Crosman 112 or 115 or whatever they are. They use CO2 though. And Crosman makes one model I've heard about that is very popular for customizing. Can't remember the number though, crs.

Get the Izzy46M. You'll be glad you did

I love my Gamo Shadow 1000. Seems like I've been shooting it more and more lately.
