I have a chance to get a new/unused Galco ******* Shoulder Holster rig for around $90 anyone have any experience with these holsters? This rig is molded for the square trigger guard, and my 5906 is the rounded model, so I am not sure if this would affect the hold on the firearm. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I've had a ******* rig for several years now. Though I haven't used many shoulder rigs and don't wear one very often, I must say the my ******* rig is more comfortable than my Miami classic was. The load balances well and doesn't cut into my shoulders.

I have two of them and like to use them during cold weather. For a production holster you can't beat'em.

I used one for years with my Sig 220. It was comfortable, and I liked being able to put on one thing and have all my gear - gun, spare mags, cuffs, and badge clipped to the strap. I never used the tie down thing and never felt I needed it. I drifted away from it, but I may go back to using it some day.

I use a ******* rig all of the time; it's especially good for long drives as I can wear it over a t-shirt and under an unbuttoned long or short sleeve shirt, or a vest. I've driven cross country many times and have never had a problem. This is the only kind of shoulder holster I'll use.

I like the "*******" rig better than their "Miami Classic" rig. I don't know why. It's something about how the holster is designed I guess. It just rides better than the MC holster and you can adjust it a little differently so that it is easier to get to for us "robust" fellers. ;)

Me too.........

I have three Galco shoulder holsters and am happy with each of them. The ******* is fine and so is the miami classic. I would really wait until I could get one FOR MY GUN, not something close unless you can test it for fit before you buy it. I use them for a Heavy G20 fullsize 10mm w/16 rds of ammo in the mag and gun as well as two 15 rd. mags on the other side. The Miami is used for my 1911's. One ******* is for my Sig P220. NO complaints, however I got them at a discount and paid $75.00 for the most expensive rig. $90.00 seems steep if not for the gun I have. I'd look on this forum and/or search E-bay. Hope this helps..........Sprefix

I bought a Jack Ass when Galco first reintroduced it years ago, I've worn it a lot over the years and have found it satisfactory. I don't wear it too much anymore, since I started going back to the gym a few years ago my chest has gotten too big to reach comfortably across, the weapon's not a problem but the mag pouch is a bit difficult to grab. If you're sizeable in the torso that might be something to consider.
