Anyone used a Galco D.A.O. holster?

I saw one of these in the store, and a friend of mine was telling me he prefers this to more exposed, "top heavy" holsters like Threepersons and Jordan-style holsters. It would be for a 4 inch N frame.

I own two - one for a Ruger Redhawk and one for a 586.

I find they make great field holsters. I like to carry crossdraw when up in the mountains.

I would not recommend them for conceal carry as they do not necessarily snug the gun tight to the body and the strap is not very conducive to a fast draw. With practice, it can be done quickly, just not as quickly as a standard snap or open-top holster (IMHO).
