My son turned me on to this during Thanksgiving and I have been laughing my rear off. Can't say it is a reality show, seems too scripted, even though there appears to be some good ad libs. Sometimes it reminds me of "I Love Lucy", that kind of humor. Good clean fun, wholesome, family oriented, always a moral at the end. What do you think?

I think it's hyped up a bit, but they are real people. A friend of mine grew up with them and went to high school with one of the brothers. My friend is from West Munroe and refers to it as "Ignorant Thicket".
I think it is funny and I like it. I think Uncle Si is way underrated.
I was bothered that it was so scripted until my wife pointed out that it was more of a sitcom than a reality show, now I can't get enough

Of all the lame stupid shows on TV gotta admit it is pretty funny. Even Mrs Rule likes it and she hates all those shows.
Uncle Si is a trip. Pretty decent show with some hysterical stuff.

They are pretty interesting. The dad has a Masters in Education and played football in college, quarterback. He was drafted by the Washington Redskins and Terry Bradshaw was his backup. Uncle Si retired from a career in the army. Willie has a Business Degree.
They sure make a lotta money letting folks think they are stupid rednecks.
They seem like some pretty neat people in real life.

I DVR it if I can't catch it, even though they show the reruns all the time. I was disappointed in just how scripted Mountain Man was. I'm not even sure he's a real person. Just a character in a sit-com. I like the show, but I don't like sitcoms. Go figure.
