Brother-in-law left one here with me. Has no cords or instructions with it. Just 4 brand new AA copped tops. He didn't know how to use it and had no use for it. I'm not a genious when it comes to crap like this. I forget how to operate the tv remote a lot of times.

I read somewhere on the internet tonight that they had been "stopped making" them for a while because ofease of listening in on cell phone calls or breaking phone numbers or such. Read on one spot that said the intrucionas were 188 pages.

Anyone have any experience with this receiveer that is willing to share. Need an operator's manual if I can download one.

that,

Hope this helps. Looks like a neat item from what I read in the opening pages of the manual. Just don't get in trouble with the FCC listening to cell phone converstions without a warrant.

Cellular frequencies were blocked. Nothing to listen to there now anyways, all analog cellular is gone and only digital out there now and all you would hear is bips and squeaks.

It's a great receiver and should serve you well.

A very nice receiver. Unfortunately you will find that many public service agencies have gone to digital as they have upgraded equipment over the past few years and often they are using trunking systems that make most scanners unusable. There is plenty of activity left on the airwaves that you can monitor.
