As title says, if I have the DCAEK kit in my Fullsize 9mm m&p can I drop the flat face trigger in ? Or will I have to buy the whole kit?!? I've heard both yes and no to this from guys on the M&p groups on FB

The flat faced trigger will only work with the FSS. So to answer your question, No. If you read the description for the trigger only on the Apex site, it says that the trigger will only work if you already have the Forward Set Sear installed

Bkreutz knows what he's talking about. I wonder how the flat face trigger is different than their other triggers? I have installed their triggers on our 9c's that have the DCAEK kits installed. As I recall I had to use a different sear spring for the triggers, but that is all.

The FSS and Flat Faced triggers have a different geometry than the stock triggers and are designed to only work with the Forward Set Sear. The Action Enhancement trigger from Apex has the same geometry as a stock trigger. By geometry I'm referring to where the trigger bar attaches to the trigger, it's different. At some point (when I get bored) I may try to put a FSS trigger on a normal sear just to see what happens, but I haven't thought of it when I was bored. ;)
