Apex Gunsmith fit vs Semi drop in barrel?

I know what the difference is. What I don't know is how much difference between the two in terms of difficulty installing and accuracy. What are your experiences? Thanks!

I was able to do the semi-drop in at home.. no professional help needed. Phenomenally accurate. Just needed a file to file down a few edges.

I did the apex gunsmith fit barrel on a 4.25 core . Glad I did too . Only took 20 minutes to fit as it was . Already had a good file and used marker pin in place of the blue die . Pistol use to shoot patterns not groups now when benched its a barely sub 2" at 25 yards with my general use coated swc practice ammo . 147 hst is a little tighter grouping I have some 160gr lead 9mm bullets I want to try in it.
