After waiting two weeks due to stupid USPS, finally received my Apex poly trigger from Midway for my 40C.

I'm pretty stoked but a little skiddish of installing it. I've never done light gun smithing but am pretty mechanically inclined. I've watched Apex video on installing it but to tell you the truth, it sucks. Not the best how to video ever.

Anyone have better directions or close up pictures and step by step instructions? I have all stock internals.

When I installed the trigger on my 40c as part of the FSS kit, I was also installing the DCAEK on my Shield. The Shield video is much clearer, with better picture detail to see the small parts. The process is actually pretty simple, just take your time and pay close attention to your initial disassembly. One thing I would do in retrospect is take a closeup picture at each step to aid in reassembly, and to help others such as yourself. I had some trouble while installing the FSS that I wouldn't have had if I paid closer attention to the videos. Watch them over and over, then have a laptop, etc. while installing.

As I said, just don't get in a hurry and you'll be fine. I absolutely love the difference in the triggers. My groupings shrank immediately!

So far so good! It was easy! I'm down to getting ready to reinstall pins and check timing loop activation with sear.

I like that stipple job, i used a dragging blade to do mine, ended up with woodgrain/termite tracks look
