Anyone carry a revolver in the appendix position? I currently carry a p938 in the appendix position and find it very comfortable. Was curious if anyone carries their revolver in this fashion? If so what holster are you carrying them in? I have a couple of 2" and 3" k frames that I am considering to carry and don't find the 4 o'clock position comfortable.

I know a lot of people are going to comment about having the barrel pointed towards the groin area and the main artery in your leg as a safety concern but proper training takes care of that concern. I am more interested in the holster being used.

I carry my S&W Model 65 3" in that manner in a Simply Rugged Pancake with IWB straps.

I have also just started carrying my Ruger LCR appendix carry in a SoCo Kydex holster.

I have been looking at the simply rugged holster but wondered how comfortable they would be in the appendix position. The SoCo is interesting. How strong is the retention?

I just went to the SoCo site and the information is extremely limited!!

Guess I'm missing something................does one have to guess at which holster might work for a particular handgun??

I have been using the appendix position for many years with a G26. With the proper holster, a 2 or 3 inch K frame should be OK. I have a 3 inch M64 and a 4 inch M12 but havent tried it yet.

The SoCo holster is very secure. If you go to the "add to cart" selection on the website, it the gives you models to select. Also, the owner will answer e-mails or talk with you by phone, if you have questions. He also made me a matching sheath for my Buck Paklite Knife.

I carry a Model 10 and Model 13 (both w/3" barrels) in a Dale Fricke Archangel AIWB (kydex) on occasion. Pretty nice set up.
