Have you ever seen a classic mistreated? Last week a friend at work wanted me to go outside to our parking area to "show me something". He pulled from under the seat a near pristine 10-5 that some family member carried-don't recall the relation to him. It only had a slight discoloration at the muzzle but not nearly what you'd think for a carry piece, if indeed it was carried. You have to take this guy with a grain of salt sometimes.
A couple weeks back he also showed me a Makarov he had buried somewhere in the car. Neither of these pistols were in a holster, box or anything else-just thrown under the seat. It was warm here last week and the week before and I know the humidity was at least 50%. There's no way I'd even put a Glock under my front seat with the windows up in hot, humid weather much less a fine 10-5. I'm going to try and talk him out of it this week. It needs a better home...IMO. I hope next time he doesn't show me a 4506 that he's left in the trunk!
