Hi I have tried searching :o

So the question I have is will a AR Detachable Carry Handle with Dual Aperture A2 Sight made for an AR 15 work with the M&P 15-22 standard front sight? (you know the metal one it comes with) without any risers on either end

Thanks for any info or links.......:)

thanks for the reply ...but I'm talking about the same plain / level will I be able to "sight" using the 15-22 front sight with AR Detachable Carry Handle?

I have one on mine and it works fine. The red-dot mount is quickly detachable and also see-through so that I can use either sight simply by shifting my view.

Yes, it will work. The metal rear sight that comes with the 15-22 is basically the same sight system as on the carry handle, with the handle portion removed.

Just make sure you use the M4 style handle, rather than the M16A2 handle. Both fit, but the rifle handle will have an 800 meter sight elevator, rather than the 600 meter elevator of the carbine. And while you can BSZ the sight for 50 meters, or 100 meters, the fast reference sight elevation clicks will not be regulated for the 22LR round, regardless of which handle you use.
Oh, and depending on your tastes and pocketbook, the Chinese do make "Knock off" handles of lower quality and cheaper price. Of course, on a plastic .22 receiver, does it matter?
YMMV

@ Ofc.JL thanks for the info....now I hope I purchased the right one.....:o

Does anyone have the Colt handle that Midway is selling. Says it was designed for the Colt 22 rimfire and M4 OPs. In the photo I do not see any forge markings on this one.
