It’s fun to shoot. It’s nice shooting suppressed.

I got bit by the 300 Blackout bug about 3 years ago. Built a 16 in carbine while I waited for the paperwork to clear on a SBR I bought. Then I also built a 7 1/2 in pistol. The round is a lot of fun to shoot. Very mild mannered and add in a suppressor and the fun just improves exponentially.

I set my carbine up to shoot 220 grain subsonic rounds.

I have a old can that will be perfect for this, just a little long in the woods.

I do have a question, though, and it's not for your rifle specifically, but in general. How is a brace not considered a rear stock?

The length of the brace is the determining factor they are somewhat shorter then a standard stock.

I’ve toyed with the thought of building an AR pistol. PSA keeps dangling lowers in front of me via email. Right now I have 2 guns in jail awaiting bail. Maybe once I get those out.
What lowers do you guys like? I’m a newb at building but have a friend that has done a couple.
PSA was offering their blems for $29 a month or so ago. Reviews seemed good and many couldn’t find the blem. Once you factored shipping and FFL fees I think I can do better locally.

I'm still waiting on my pre-order PSA lower for my first and probably only pistol build. I got sucked in by the Betsy Ross lower with her knitting the flag on one side and the Colonial flag on the other side..Might add one of the custom bolt covers to it too. Mainly a toy I guess but I might rig up a locking compartment under my trucks rear seat to make it work for a living in some manner.
