Are all 625-3 models caliber .45LC?

I already own a 625-2 and a 625-4. Came across a 625-3 today.

I had read that uneven dash numbers (-3, -5, -7) were .45 Colt, not .45ACP. Standard Catalog mentions that, too. But there are no markings on the gun indicating such. It simply says ".45 Cal Model of 1989", just like my -2 and -4. It looks identical, including cylinder length. I didn't measure it, though

If this is a .45 Colt model, I'll pick it up, but I can't tell.

Any of you guys know? Thanks!

The odd numbered dashes are indeed .45 LC. You lucked-out, so grab-it while you can!

LC or not, I would snag that 625 if the price is right.

The gap between the front of the cylinder and the frame on the LC revolver is narrower than the ACP version. It's very noticeable.

The odd (colt) even (acp) dash numbers worked on the blue model 25 guns. I don't think that is true on the stainless 625 gun dash numbers.

Like said the big give away is that the Acp cylinder is quite a bit shorter. If there is about a 1/4" of barrel sticking through the frame its an ACP (except for the 25-3 and rare pre model 25 colts). If there is abbout 1/8" inch of stick through its a 45 colt.

here is a 45 colt followed by an acp
note the difference in the distance from front of cylinder to frame and length of barrel extension
