Hello all,

I'm in the UK and as most of you know some of our gun laws suck ***. As most states in the US seem to allow full-bore semi-auto guns, is IPSC 'mini-rifle' as its known over here a thing over there? As in Practical Rifle but with .22's?

This is from a typical match over here (sorry i don't know how to embed the video on this site);

YouTube

S&W 15-22's are very popular here for this sort of shooting, as are other .22 AR variants like CMMG and Lantac (if you have money to burn!)

I've not heard of it until now.

Pistol caliber carbine is the new hot class in USPSA.

Sounds like fun, though.

We let kids do it in local USPSA club matches.
Steel Challenge matches have .22 division.

Actually there are very few true IPSC Rules matches in the US. Most are shot under the USPSA rules, which are not exactly the same.
