Are revolvers for amateurs?

Armed services are not paid to kill, rather to act as a unit. My point was the author of the "study" was taking huge liberties between amateur and professional. I prefer revolvers but do not consider my self an amateur nor professional. No one pays me to go to the range.

I suggest you read this: --The mission of the Marine Corps rifle squad is to locate, close with and destroy the enemy by fire and maneuver, or repel the enemy assault by fire and close combat. A lesson Marines are taught in boot camp, which is carried throughout their entire career. -- Destroy means to kill in the way it was taught to us........not invite them to Tea & Crumpets.

Maybe amateur & professional are the wrong terms. Maybe adequate and inadequate would have been better.

No one pays me to go to the range either. I do it out of a sense of accomplishment, to have fun and to stay in practice.
