Are the screws on Smith and Wesson pistols metric? I ask because I have a 22A and the rail on top is loose. I need to get an allen wrench of the right size to tighten it up but am not sure if I am looking for a metric allen wrench or a inch size. All I know for sure is that I do not have one that fits.

I believe you are looking for a 9/64 allen wrench...smaller than a 4mm but bigger than a 3.5mm. The 9/64 works in mine.
Thanks for the reply, I just found one in the last set of allen wrenches I purchased. They were in two rows in the plastic holder and when I started to look for the 9/64 there it was on row with the longer wrenches. Somehow I overlooked it the first time around. Thanks a million.
