Are You Content?

Hmmmm. Content? Yeah, I suppose. I've been fortunate over the years to obtain (and lose) most of the guns I ever wanted... and learned the hard way that natural disasters change things quickly and radically. Now an octogenarian with 'issues', I've stopped accumulating and the collection will be dispersed between my offspring and the NRA Foundation. Oh, wait. I really want a J-frame with a 3" barrel to go with a unique holster I just got..... forget everything else I said!

I have every need cover. But please don’t tell my wife…… I still have a few wants. OP as for the 77/357. U will love it. I recently bought my son and I both 77/44s. Could not be happier with them. He took a deer with it last week. I would imagine the 357 is the same overall quality.
Ruger has listed the 77/44 in their catalog for years, but 3 different sources have told me Ruger has not made or shipped any of then for several years. Is that still true?

No. About 18 months ago they were back in production. They now have threaded barrels and accuracy is great right out of the box. I bought 2 stainless synthetic models. They run about $1000 on sites like GB.

I could pass moments after posting and would go being very content with what my sons will argue over in the safe lol. There are very few I’d like to have that I don’t but I’m content not chasing after them. Perhaps if I was in a different financial state I’d feel differently, not that I’ll know.
