Has anyone on the Forum dealt with Armslist before? I've been checking out their ads and a lot of them seem to be FTF. Any problems, scams etc? "I gots ta know"(from orig Dirty Harry movie)

I agree. Local face to face only. Talk about a diamond in the rough. I was just surfing my local listings one day and found my Grail gun after a 3-4 year search! ;) Found out that he is a Member here in the process! I'd rather be lucky than good any day!! :D

Soooooo, I give ArmsList 2 thumbs up.

I've had some luck selling on Armslist. Tried to purchase a pistol from and unregistered seller and things didn't add up. Only wanted western union payment, sick mother etc. The good news, he was flagged as a scam and Armslist sent out a scam warning about it. As with anything use caution at all times.

Have actually bought more from Jason's, but all Armslist comments apply equally to Jason's. In Albuquerque, Jason's seems to get more 'action.'

FTF is the way to go. Just make sure you don't do a FTF in a bad part of town, might be a setup as they know you'll have money. I like transactions in the local sheriff's parking lot or hospital parking lot. That way if something happens to someone, don't have far to go. Any place with lots of people and not in the back of the parking lot.
