I clicked on that litle number at the lower right hand corner of my screen and increased from 100 % to 200 % magnification and it improved things. Still not really sharp at that magnification but more readable.

That article was reprinted in Daley's book, "Target Blue," mentioned above. The general feeling among Stakeout Unit members was that Daley's article helped put them out of business. Daley, who was the deputy police commissioner in charge of press relations at the time, was a police buff and a big fan of the unit. He thought he was spotlighting the good work of the SOU, but instead he brought unwanted attention on it.
