I do, with everything going on in my life right now I've only found the time to start it.
I know that Ray suggested that the winner only hold on to the book for a month, which I intended to do. So Ray may I hang onto it a little longer or find the time to start a new Karma ASAP?

Of course. Modern life has no concerns over our plans or schedules, all we can do is the best we can do. Enjoy the book completely before thinking about who is next in line.
Teaser: Some old cops will enjoy the part when a NYPD administrator is demanding to know if the stakeout squad is clearly ordering subjects to surrender before opening fire, and Cirillo's reply is something like 'Sure, but with all the shooting I can't guarantee that they heard me'.
Old Bear will make it happen when it happens so everyone should be a little patient for now.
