I went to the Gun show Saturday. Most ammo is still expensive, but the show wasn't crowded compared to others. .223/5.56 is still 60-75¢ a round. I am starting to see some price reduction in pmags. There were plenty of AR-15s. Didn't see anyone walking around with them though. I think they are just sitting on the tables. I bought 100 rounds of .38 special for $13.50/50 rounds and 100 rounds of 44-40 cowboy loads for $32/50 rounds. I got these from Georgia Arms. They said they are taking internet orders again with shipping 3-6 months out.
Guns I saw I liked;
S&W Registered Magnum made in 1939 with a factory letter. It was wearing stag grips and had 100% nickel finish. The seller said he would include a set of nice period S&W grips that didn't match the serial number. Price $7295 (ouch!)
S&W model 17-3 K-22 Masterpiece. All original with no box. Asking $750. I offered $550 and he said he had turned down $620, later decided to sell it and the buyer had bought something else. I said I would improve my offer to $600, but that was it. He turned me down. He had a Model 43 snub nosed .22 in the box for $750 and that was too rich for me. There was a Model 64 4" for sale for $375. It had ugly rubber grips on it. (all rubber grips are ugly.)
I saw a Colt 1093 pocket .32 in the box. It had 90-95% finish with papers. The box was worn with some of the flanges of the lid missing. There was some rust in the bore. Asking was $975. I offered $750. He was talking about $850. I have his name and phone number, but I am all in at $750.
IMHO, on the K-22 and 1903 Colt if I paid my offer And sold the guns on GB I would not make a dime on either (without a ton of luck). There is a SAA on Armslist.com that I could probably sell on GB for $1-200 over the price I would pay. I may see if it is still available next week. There were several SAA's at the gun show and all were over priced.

I spoke with the guys from Capital Pawn and they said they were having a good show, I didn't get further details.
My GF looked at Gun concealment purses, but didn't buy one.
