I stay in contact with Terry and he just sent me this update:
Rusty,
I don’t know where to begin, the 22nd of May I was admitted into the ICCU for many complications of chemotherapy that nearly killed me and spent 5 long days and was finaly released on the 27th. This past Monday I had implant surgery in my lower back for the insertion of a intrathecal pain pump so far so good. I will undergo my third chemo therapy treatment this coming Monday the oncologist has assured me that he would tame down the dosage.
I certainly appreciate any prayers that fellow forum members would offer in my behalf.
Don’t know if I sent you this picture or not, but it certainly portrays my emotion when I busted out of the hospital.
many of us here understand what a cruel mistress chemo can be... prayers continue for you and all your medical staff during this time... I have personally done chemo series twice and radiation series once.. it is tough, but you got this.
