here is mine. it is super accurate for what it is. it is built like a tank, and a copy of a PPK mine functions perfectly, I did a trigger job and it is a slick little pistol. some were factory engraved as this one is. they are a tad large for a 380 to me but it is so accurate I can live with that. you will like yours,,,,,

Astra Constables come in calibers .380 and .22, and they are good guns. I'd like to get one.

-------------

Have never heard of the Constable being chambered for .22, mine is a .32 ACP. And I can hit the centre of an ISSF Rapidfire target with it at 25 yards.

It does not like hard primers such as in Winchester or S&B ammo. It shoots Federal though really well. I have components on hand so when I get a spare hour I'll make up some reloads and see how they shoot.

I had one back in the mid 80's. Nice little semi and wish I still had it. Sold it to a friend who had it stolen out of his pick up.

I had a 22lr model, it functioned well but wasn't up to the accuracy I was looking for. I had Berettas, PP (not original) and
other foriegn 22s on 32 frames. I was looking for the perfect
22 auto that would give me m34 kit gun accuracy. While most
functioned well, I never found one to compete with a 34.

If you don't care about the double action trigger, one of the better ones I had for accuracy was a Bernardelli m80. It had
adj sights and wasn't picky about ammo as long as it was HV.
I never used the DA on any of these guns. The 80 was one of the
few of these 32 size pistols I got NIB. They come with target grips, the first thing I got rid of and replaced with slabs. SIG
made a 22 in this class, never owned one of them. Styer also
made one in 50s that I never got hold of. I think a pistol this
size geared for a kit type gun would be a good seller.

I have one in 22 LR. Mine seems to be very accurate. I use hi speed ammo to get reliable ejections. I keep Cci stingers just for it.

I had the choice between it and the Walther pp 22 at a gun show but had read bad reports on the ppk. I would not trade it for a ppk. It is my most carried front pocket gun on the farm. I'd love to find a bargain in 380.

I would like to find a spare magazine.

I like the constable.

I picked up a .22 Constable during the ammo drought. It had been traded in at the local Big Name Gun Store.....likely because it will not function with bulk pack ammo. I got it cheap; sub $200. It runs flawlessly with CCI ammo.
I like it. Really nice bluing on these older guns.
