Thought I would share this little gem of a carbine. I built it in 2019 at the ripe old age of 69 (should have done this when I was a lot younger). Yesterday I was shooting it at 100 yards on a bullseye target with some .223 handloads wit Hornady 55-grain V-max. Here is the details on this build:
Upper Receiver: Anderson stripped, Del-Ton upper parts kit, Midwest Industries 12.5-inch MLOK rail, AIM premium nickel boron BCG, Strike Industries extended latch charging handle, Odin Works 16.1-inch stainless barrel with 1 in 8" twist chambered in .223 Wylde, Spike's Tactical Dynacomp muzzle brake and Vortex 3x Prism scope with 5.56 reticle.
Lower Receiver: Anderson stripped AM-15 milspec, Spike's Tactical LPK minus fire control, Giessele G2S two-stage curved AR trigger. Spike's Tactical carbine 6-position buffer tube buffer and spring, MAGPUL MOE milspec rear stock.
This rifle came out great and shoots like a dream. I've built one Spike's Tactical lower since then, but don't think I'm going to do any more. Thanks for looking.
